  • So Animated series of "SS Rajamouli" "Bahubali: Crown of Blood" has been launched on "Disney + Hotstar".
  • The series starts with "Kattappa's" narration of how "Bhalal Dev" had killed "Bahubali" by deceit. Then "Mahendra Bahubali" was born and how he took revenge and all of that stuff.
  • Kattappa will give you a back drop of the story of both parts of 'Bahubali movie' in almost 1.5 min narration and then will tell you how 'rakt dev uff kaal doot' will kill Bahubali.
  • Both the 2 episodes are around 20-25 min the episodes are short and stick to the topic.
  • The hindi dubbing of this is awesome get to hear all the iconic voices who voiced the old characters I mean both the films.
  • The voice of Bahubali was "Sharad Kelkar" but the voice of Kaal Doot i.e. Rakt Dev was "Rajesh Khattar" who was investigating that character.
  • In both the episodes, Rakt Dev is on screen for a very short time but one feels that he is a very strong character.
  • But one thing bugged me is the animation here is very basic in 2 episodes somewhere it felt like I was watching an anime series specially in fighting sequences. Actually felt like they are trying to copy anime style while fighting sequences.
  • How can the shadow light shown be such a harsh light on the character and too in every character.
  • Well the storyline has not been revealed much yet, it is mostly revolving around Kattappa. Kattappa is exiled to avoid fighting Rakt Dev with Baahubali which you have seen in trailer also.
  • Story wise series is very impressive, dialogue are also written very good, direction and visual appearance is also good of whole series but animation could have been better.
  • By the way, its animation was done by the same 'graphic animation company' who made "The Legend of Hanuman".
  • There is cripping in both the episodes and there was no distraction in the storyline. It would have been better if they had brought the further episodes now only.
